THE BASQUIAT PHOTOGRAPHY COLLECTION

A rare, intimate presentation of photographs by Alexis Adler, capturing her time living with Jean-Michel Basquiat. The entire 100+ photo archive is now part of the permanent collection of Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and culture These works are part of the Smithsonian private collection

Together, these exhibitions create a dialogue between historic depth and contemporary resonance, celebrating legacy, culture, and the artists shaping what comes next.
